The GYA’s Qualifier for the Mallory Cup will be held with the Gulf Coast Sportboat Championship, August 7-8, 2021 at Gulfport Yacht Club. Open to Viper 640’s & VX One’s (will sail together with no ratings).
The top GYA finisher will represent us in the Finals at Texas Corinthian October 22-24, 2021.

Challenge Cup, Nov 7-8 at Pontchartrain Yacht Club has been cancelled due to bulkhead construction
It is time to get your GYA Foundation grant requests sent to Janet Miller-Schmidt, P.O. Box 73, Monteagle, TN 37356, Secretary/Treasurer.
If you are interested in completing a grant application, please go to the GYA Foundation website for the application under GYA Foundation Documents (click here). All applications must be postmarked not later than December 1, 2020.
The GYA Foundation Board will consider all requests for grants in late December. Each Applicant will be notified by mail the determination of the request in January after the annual meeting of the Foundation.

Come get your last of 2020 sailing in at the Sunfish Nationals at Midwinter in Bay St. Louis, MS! This is all kinda last minute so register and let’s make this happen. I know a lot of people have been clamoring for a big regatta in 2020. Well, this is it!
We have the last 4 of the 2021 World spots up for grabs. We’ll award for the top 3 juniors, top female, tops in all the master categories, and top 5 overall. Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of fun.
Registration is officially live. If you don’t know your sail number make it “0” and we’ll get the specifics later. I need to know you’re coming though so we can plan accordingly.

Conner Blouin, you gotta come as the reigning national champ. Think about it, you’ll save all that money from shipping the perpetual to Bay St. Louis.
We’ve got Rich Chapman, Bob Findlay, and Gretchen Seymour driving all the way from Chicago so no excuses from anyone else. If you happen to arrive early, we’ll have an informal practice session on Thurs, Nov 12.
We have plenty of room at BWYC to spread out. We’ll have a safe regatta and a guaranteed good time.

Unfortunately, the Offshore Council will have to cancel the 2020 Challenge Cup. Pont. YC will be unable to host due to construction along the Mandeville harbor breakwater.
